We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior IT Buyer. The Junior IT Buyer will play a crucial role in our procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of IT goods and services to support our organization's needs. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the procurement of IT hardware, software, and services in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Research and identify potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish favorable terms and conditions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their IT requirements and develop procurement strategies to meet their needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and vendor agreements.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns that may arise during the procurement process.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Assist in the evaluation of vendor proposals and participate in vendor selection processes.
  • Support the procurement team in various administrative tasks, such as vendor correspondence, invoice processing, and budget tracking.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Adhere to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements governing procurement activities.

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in procurement, preferably in an IT-related environment, is desirable but not required.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex information and make sound decisions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
